Finished\u00a0the\u00a0first\u00a0complete series of storyboards. The story arc and characters are now fleshed out and it a comes in at\u00a0around\u00a0246 shots. Should keep us all busy for a while! I’m very happy with how the story and various layers of narration and symbolism have knitted together and am really looking\u00a0forward\u00a0to\u00a0the\u00a0process of working these scenes up with the actors and also developing\u00a0some\u00a0of\u00a0the\u00a0visual\u00a0ideas I’ve hinted at in the boards. The story and characters have\u00a0come\u00a0a long way since i wrote the\u00a0original\u00a0musical score, so plenty of\u00a0adjustments\u00a0will be needed for the final scoring (this was pretty\u00a0inevitable. Or though the lazy\u00a0musician\u00a0in me was kind of hoping it\u00a0wasn’t\u00a0!) And I’m thinking of involving\u00a0some\u00a0other\u00a0people\u00a0in\u00a0the\u00a0writing\u00a0process\u00a0for a few of\u00a0the\u00a0new themes, as I’m much too close to the music now to\u00a0really\u00a0know what is\/isn’t working.
\nWe’re holding our auditions in\u00a0September,\u00a0so should have plenty of stuff to workshop now. \u00a0The Stina rig is almost\u00a0finished\u00a0and will be preparing it for a hopefully streamlined motion\u00a0capture\u00a0process\u00a0over the next few weeks. Also going to start nailing the look of the environment and\u00a0other\u00a0characters,\u00a0as i have the very talented artist Jackie West on as art director.
